Paris, France – March 16, 2009 – Sword CTSpace, global provider of document control and project collaboration solutions for the design, engineering and construction of capital-intensive projects, today announced that Pizzarotti selected its solutions to manage the design and construction of a new €140 million hospital in Marseille, France.
Pizzarotti is an Italian construction company which employs over 1700 people. The company has achieved steady growth in project designing and the construction of infrastructures and large public works such as civil works for thermoelectric and nuclear power stations, Road, highway and railway infrastructures, Civil and military airports, Hydraulic works and Civil works. The company operates in Italy and abroad, specialising in France, Switzerland, Algeria, Romania and Morocco.
Pizzarotti won a bid for the project design and construction of the new Medical Technological Centre of La Timone Hospital, Marseilles (France), worth €140 million. The construction phase started in April 2009, and is expected to last 35 months. Pizzarotti is working with Sword CTSpace solutions to manage documentation and workflow, and to effectively communicate and collaborate on this project.
