French Programme Management Organisation Icade is using Sword CTSpace to optimise document management and project collaboration over the course of a 13 year project on the new 'Grace de Monaco' hospital in Monaco
Paris, France - July 12, 2009 - Sword CTSpace, global provider of project document control and collaboration solutions for the design, engineering and construction of capital-intensive projects, today announced a deal with the French Programme Management organization Icade. Sword CTSpace solutions will optimise Icade's document management and collaboration during the construction of the new Grace de Monaco hospital, in Monaco
A listed company since April 2006, Icade is a major player in the French property market. Its businesses cover the whole of the sector's value chain through investment, development and services. They mainly operate in the construction of housing, offices, business parks, shopping centres and public and semi-public property. Icade employs 3,550 people worldwide and in 2008 turned over €1,599m recording an EBITDA of €335m.
Icade has been awarded a further contract for a 13-year long project in Monaco, related to the construction of the new Grace de Monaco hospital. On completion, the whole development will exceed 100,000 m² over 17 floors, with 500 beds and 13 surgical units. The project will be conducted while the site is maintained in operation. Sword CTSpace is working with Icade to facilitate collaboration on their projects and keep a complete audit trail of actions during the whole project lifecycle.
