New construction in St. Pauli, Hamburg – STRABAG makes building dance at Reeperbahn
Frankfurt, Germany – February 1st 2010 - Sword CTSpace, a global provider of document management and collaboration workflow applications for the construction and engineering industry, announced today that they will be working with STRABAG on the project “Tanzende Türme” (dancing towers) in Hamburg, Germany.
After much consideration about the future of the shabby Bowling center building in St. Pauli, STRABAG and BRT architects have taken the initiative and designed two new 22 and 24 story high rise buildings and a new hotel to take over the 60,000ft² area. STRABAG Real Estate GmbH is investing around $250 M. in this revolutionary project.
“Tanzende Türme“ will contain an office complex where STRABAG AG themselves intend to move in with their Hamburg business units. The buildings will also contain a restaurant with an outside terrace giving a panoramic view of Hamburg from 300 feet above the ground as well as the 4**** hotel Arcotel Onyx boasting 217 beds. The famed music club “Mojo” will be moved to within the “Tanzende Türme” and will be placed at the corner of Reeperbahn / Spielbudenplatz. The new club will have a maximum capacity of 800 guests.
Sword CTSpace holds a long-term partnership with STRABAG AG and streamlines their processes with their SaaS-based document management solution on large numbers of projects.
